Our Poet’s Rest development in Polesworth has been completed

Our development of four properties at Poet’s Rest in Polesworth has been completed.

The development, which is in North Warwickshire, is made up of two affordable homes and two shared ownership homes – which have already been sold.

We worked with Owl Homes, who built the properties for us at the development. This is our first project with them, and it has proven extremely positive for both of us, with the standard of build exceeding expectations.

Our Director of Development Richard Whittaker said: “It’s brilliant to see the development at Poet’s Rest completed and it’s great news that the two shared ownership homes have been sold. We hope that our customers who move in during November will be very happy at the development too.

“At Citizen we want to provide more than a home, we want to provide a foundation for life, which is why we are committed to building homes like these in Polesworth.

“This is our first time working with Owl Homes and we are looking forward to developing our relationship.”

Customers are due to move into the remaining two affordable rent homes in November.

The development was called Poet’s Rest after the poet John Donne passed through the village in the 1600s. He was inspired so much by the village that he wrote a poem while he was there.
