Citizen is part of a programme in Coventry called ConnectMe which is helping residents access employment, education or training.

How does it work?

People who apply for the scheme are given one-to-one coaching around a bespoke action plan that identifies barriers and provides support in overcoming them.

This includes key skills workshops that cover CV writing, job searching, interview skills, managing money and confidence building.

Six-week voluntary work experience placements with us are available.

ConnectMe is part funded through the European Social Fund Programme 2014-2020.

She said the scheme gave her the confidence to get back into work.

Bhupinder said: “ConnectMe has given me the confidence to come back into work and think about where I might go in the future”.
