Our Winter Photography Competition is now live!

We’ve launched our Winter Photography Competition, and we’d love to see your photos!

Share pictures you have taken that make you smile to spread some joy this winter.

You will then be able to vote for the photo that you think deserves to win the competition.

The photos with the top three number of votes will win a £50, £25 or £10 voucher You can send your photos to us at communications@citizenhousing.org.uk anytime before Friday 6 February.

We’ll share the winning photos in our customer email and on social media along with the winner’s first name.

We can’t wait to see your pics!

Winter Photography Competition terms and conditions

The promotor is Citizen Housing Group Ltd, 4040 Lakeside, Solihull Parkway, Birmingham B37 7YN

Competition duration: The competition will run from 23 January 2026 to 6 February 2026. Eligibility: 

• The competition is open to Citizen customers aged 18 and over. 

• Only one image is allowed to be submitted per customer. If more than one image is submitted, then one photo will be selected at random.

• Citizen staff and Board Members who are also customers are not eligible to enter the competition. 

How to enter:

Disclaimer: By entering the competition, you are not guaranteed to win a prize.

• To enter the competition, customers must send one photograph to communications@citizenhousing.org.uk during the competition period.

• You took the photograph yourself or otherwise own the rights to it.

• The photograph does not infringe any third-party rights.

• You obtained permission from identifiable individuals in the photograph, including parental consent where children appear.

• The photograph does not contain inappropriate, offensive or unlawful content.

• Photographs will be uploaded on our website where customers will be able to vote.

• One vote is available for each customer. 

• Winning photographs will be shared in our customer email and on social media.

Prizes:  

• First prize: A £50 shopping voucher

• Second prize: A £25 shopping voucher

• Third prize: A £10 shopping voucher

No cash alternative is available and the prizes are non-transferable.

Moderation and removal

The promotor reserves the right to:

Reject or remove any entry that does not comply with these Terms & Conditions

Remove entries if consent is withdrawn or if a complaint is received

Entrants may withdraw their entry at any time by contacting communications@citizenhousing.org.uk

If consent is withdrawn after publication, the promotor will remove the image from future use, were reasonably practicable.

Winner selection & notification: 

• Winners will be selected through a public customer vote. The image that receives the most votes will be ranked at first place, then second then third. 

• Winners will be contacted by email or phone.  

• By entering the prize draw, you give consent for Citizen to publish your first and last name in campaign communications (e.g. social media, newsletters)

• The shopping voucher will be delivered electronically. The promotor’s decision is final. 

Data use & privacy: 

• Data collected through the Winter Photography competition is processed in line with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and Citizen’s Privacy Policy and Housing Customer Privacy Notice.

By entering the competition, you grant Citizen a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:

• Display your photograph on our website for voting

• Use the winning photograph, together with the winner’s first name, in connection with announcing and promoting the competition and other future similar competitions or other promotional materials associated with the goals and community activities of Citizen.

Liability

We accept no responsibility for:

• Technical failures or issues with communication systems or voting method including but not limited to entries that are lost, delayed or incomplete

• Inability to deliver a prize due to circumstances beyond our control.

• Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits our liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Any claims arising from lack of permission from individuals featured in a submitted photograph.

Personal Data

Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Photo Competition Privacy Information and the Citizen Privacy Notice for Housing Customers

Exclusions: 

• Any fraudulent or incomplete entries will be void. 

• Citizen reserves the right to amend or withdraw the campaign at any time in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
