We’re introducing a new uniform for our Neighbourhood Officers and Safer Neighbourhood Officers

Our Neighbourhood Officers and Safer Neighbourhood Officers now have a new uniform.
It will help the team be more visible, approachable and professional when engaging with customers.
We’re announcing the new uniform as part of National Customer Service Week – which highlights the vital role customer service plays within organisations and communities.
The uniforms have been introduced for a variety of reasons including:
- Increased professionalism – a smart and consistent look reflects the high standards we strive for when engaging with customers.
- Better visibility – uniforms will help our customers quickly recognise our Neighbourhood colleagues when they are on-site delivering customer facing service.
- Stronger Citizen identity – reinforcing who we are as an organisation and increasing awareness of our presence in communities.
- Ease and convenience – no need to think about what to wear each day, and our colleagues will always have a professional appearance.
Our Director of Housing Care and Support Peter Gill said: “We’re pleased to introduce these uniforms for our Neighbourhood Officers and Safer Neighbourhood Officers.
"This new uniform isn't just about appearance, it's about presence. It helps our Neighbourhood Officers stand out, connect confidently with customers, and represent Citizen with pride and professionalism - so make sure you look out for them!"
