We’ve recruited new apprentices!
We recently held an assessment day to recruit our new Citizen apprentices.
A total of 14 people attended for a chance to get one of five roles on offer - two electrical apprenticeships, two building safety apprenticeships and one data analyst apprenticeship.
The initial response was overwhelming, with over 500 applications received. It showed the strong interest in joining Citizen and gaining valuable on-the-job experience.
From this pool, we picked the shortlisted candidates to come and meet us.
Head of People Development Ashley Jones said: “The assessment day was designed to be fun and interactive. It gave managers the chance to see how candidates worked in groups, how they communicated and how they approached challenges.
“Our apprenticeships - which include Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 qualifications - are about more than just training. They’re about giving people a strong start, helping them build skills and confidence, and opening the possibility of a long-term career with Citizen.
“By investing in apprentices, we’re investing in our communities and strengthening our position as a local employer of choice.”
At any one time, we have 19 apprentices working for us.
