Buildings insurance

Buildings insurance protects the structure of your home, like your walls, roof, floors, ceilings, and permanent fixtures such as kitchens and bathrooms. It doesn’t protect your personal belongings.

If you’re a homeowner, which means you own part or all of your home either as a shared owner or a leaseholder, then we organise your buildings insurance. The cost of your buildings insurance will be passed on to you in your service charge and will usually be listed as ‘buildings insurance’.

If you’re a tenant, your buildings insurance is included in the cost of your rent, so you don’t need to worry about it.
