We offer different rubbish and recycling bins depending on where you live.

What recycling options are there?

We provide MetroSTORE recycling bins in some of our neighbourhoods, where you can put your recyclable waste to be collected by your local authority.

Fly-tipping is when rubbish like bags, furniture or garden waste is dumped illegally. It doesn’t just spoil how our neighbourhoods look – it can attract pests, harm the environment and even increase service charges for everyone. It’s also against the law, with fines of up to £50,000.

You can report fly-tipping to Citizen directly through My Account, or through your local council’s website, where most have a simple online form.

You can also help by:

• using council-approved bulky waste and recycling services

• keeping your bins secure

• sharing this information with your neighbours.

By working together, we can keep our communities clean, safe and welcoming for everyone. 

We can remove bulky waste or large items from your home for a fee.

There are two levels of cost depending on how many items you’d like removed.

• One to five items - £30
• Six to ten items - £60
• Eleven to fifteen items - £90
