Amber heat health alert issued

The government has issued an Amber Heat Health Alert for the West Midlands.

The alert is in place from Tuesday 11 August 2026 at 9am until Friday 14 August 2026 at 9pm.

 

During this period, hot weather may affect health and wellbeing, particularly for older people, young children, and those with existing health conditions.
