We’ve completed a year-long concrete repair project across four blocks at Riley Square in Coventry.
The work improves the safety of the buildings for our customers and was carried out in two stages.
Making buildings safe
First, we made sure the buildings were safe by fixing any damaged concrete and carrying out detailed checks. Then repair work started in July 2025.
Where was the work being done?
The four blocks which have gone through these major improvements are:
- Emily Smith House
- Alice Arnold House
- Samuel Hayward House
- Joseph Latham House
Our Asset Management team worked with JPS Projects to complete the repairs. Specialist abseilers were also brought in to safely check and repair the higher parts of the buildings. We carefully tested the concrete to understand its condition and make sure the right repairs were carried out.
Thank you to everyone for your patience while this essential work was carried out. Together, we’ve reinforced not just the buildings, but our long-term commitment to the people who live here.
