We're looking for a motivated Trade Engineer Mate to join our Kitchens & Bathrooms team. Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality kitchen and bathroom refurbishments from initial strip-out through to final handover.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and is committed to working safely.
Position: Trade Engineer Mate - Kitchen & Bathroom
Salary: £29479 per year
Location: 4040 Lakeside, B37 7YN
Hours: 37hrs per week, Mon-Thurs 08:00-16:00 Fri 08:00-15:30
Key Responsibilities:
- Remove and safely dispose of existing kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, wall coverings, fixtures, fittings and waste materials.
- Assist with refurbishment works, including demolition, flooring installation, snagging, cleaning and property preparation for handover.
- Collect and deliver building materials, operate waste management equipment safely, and maintain company tools, vehicles and assets.
- Complete work in line with company policies, health and safety standards, and maintain accurate site records and documentation.
- Deliver excellent customer service while supporting team meetings, continuous improvement and the organisation's values.
Qualifications and experience:
- Experience working on construction or refurbishment sites.
- A valid ECS or CSCS card.
- Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling training (or willingness to maintain these certifications).
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new trade skills.
- The ability to carry out a wide range of practical site tasks.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
