We are looking for a skilled and qualified Multi-Skilled Carpenter to join our Voids Kitchens & Bathrooms team. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will carry out maintenance activities, repairs and planned works across residential properties, public buildings and commercial premises.

Position: Trade Engineer - Multi-Skilled Carpenter (Voids Kitchens & Bathrooms)
Salary: £39289
Location: St James Lane, Coventry, CV3 3FX
Hours: 37 hours 8am to 4pm (Fri 3:30pm)
Key Responsibilities:
This is a hands-on role where quality workmanship, customer care and health & safety compliance are essential. You will work both independently and alongside other trade engineers to deliver high standards of service.
- Undertake works relating to your primary trade (Carpentry) and associated multi-skilled tasks
- Carry out repairs, installations and refurbishments within void kitchens and bathrooms
- Ensure all works meet regulatory, compliance and Health & Safety requirements
- Manage company equipment, materials and van stock in line with procedures
- Participate in emergency call-out rota (where applicable)
- Work flexibly between 08:00 – 18:00 Monday to Friday
Qualifications and experience:
- Craft City & Guilds or S/NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry
- Advanced Craft City & Guilds or S/NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry
- CSCS Card (or equivalent)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Proven ability in all aspects of Carpentry, including fault diagnosis
- Experience working within social housing (desirable)
