This is an exciting opportunity to join the Transformation Team who are delivering a customer-led Transformation programme driving improvements to Citizen’s culture, services and products.

In this role, you will be an empowered and collaborative leader within our project teams, supporting the successful delivery of projects related to processes, systems, data or working practices – all aimed at creating a great service for our customers. Your project expertise will help shape the framework for our projects and drive successful delivery across a range of strategic projects.
In this role, you’ll deliver excellence within project delivery, understand how digital services can be developed and delivered while championing the organisation’s vision and values. You will be working alongside technology, data and process experts within our wider transformation team to deliver the aims of our programme change programme ‘Putting our Citizen’s First’.
Position: Senior Project Manager
Salary: £56,385
Basis: Permanent, Full Time, Monday - Friday, 37 Hours Per Week
Location: 4040 Lakeside, B37 7YN - Hybrid (2 Days Per Week in the Office)
Key Responsibilities:
- To build and manage stakeholder (to Director Level), internal / external customer and supplier relationships to ensure their contribution and understanding of proposals to facilitate successful approval and delivery.
- To provide high quality reporting to demonstrate progress, risks and issues and other project information through to relevant governance forums.
- To maintain a focus on the benefits of business change projects, building benefits management plans and monitoring business performance to establish and demonstrate the success of changes.
- To work with Subject Matter Experts across the business to identify and create project business cases, project plans and supporting documentation.
- To fully scope, plan and define the outputs of projects using appropriate project management frameworks ensuring effective delivery leading to improvements in the group’s processes, systems, structures or information.
- To develop a clear understanding of organisational vision, and ensure projects are scoped to achieve the objectives of our Business Strategy
Qualifications and experience:
- Prince2 or equivalent project management qualification
- Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement / change management qualification
- Professional housing or other relevant qualification
- Experience of Managing complex, organisation wide change projects
- Ability to engage and involve a wide range of stakeholders with different views
- Able to draw conclusions from diverse and complex qualitative and quantitative data sources
- Ability to work between technical teams to build understanding and rapport
